On September 30, 2011, York Region submitted an amended Environmental Assessment Report to the Ministry of the Environment for review and approval under the Environmental Assessment Act (EAA). Click here to view the amended EA report.

The purpose of this website is to provide interested individuals with information about the Western Vaughan Transportation Improvements Individual Environmental Assessment (IEA).  

The Regional Municipality of York is working to identify transportation deficiencies in Western Vaughan and to develop alternatives to address these problems. The Western Vaughan Transportation Improvements IEA is being undertaken in accordance with the Terms of Reference (ToR) approved by the Minister of the Environment in February 2006 under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act (OEAA).
